Directly supervise subordinate employees and/or contracted security guard force personnel. Assist the Site Security Specialist in editing, revising, and updating security program procedures and work instructions. Conduct routine, scheduled, and recurring security program reviews in accordance with the annual site security activity plan. Manage change processes in accordance with site and company procedures. Serve as the site's assistant information protection officer (IPO). Coordinate security program efforts such as Workplace Violence Prevention, Information Protection, New Employee Orientation, Logistics Security, and other duties assigned. Oversee security incident reporting and follows up on incidents, generates and analyzes reports for process failures. Recommend actions to close identified security gaps. Assist in performing security risk and vulnerability assessments, security surveys. Manage the security officer training program. Assist with plans and coordination in support of turnarounds, and site projects. Develops and delivers employee and contractor security awareness campaigns and briefings. Performs actions to support emergency response as needed. Develop and implements site security Drills, Training, And Penetration Testing in accordance with the security plan. Maintain the security management documentation files on the Share-Drive. Provide input to the Security Monthly Report. Report incidents in accordance with corporate procedures. Manage the site's Ccure access control system and the site surveillance system. Assist in annual review of the Site Security Plan and modification for changes IAQ regulatory requirement. Conduct investigations as required. Complete corporate security training requirements as required. Capable of communication effectively in writing and verbally. Experience delivering security training modules. Experience making presentations to management and leadership teams. Will be Chemical-Terrorism Vulnerability Information certified, after hire.Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalentIngredients for Success: What We look for in You….Associates Degree Three to five years military, law enforcement, industrial, or other civilian security experience or a combination with at least one year in a supervisory role. B.S. Degree in Criminal Justice preferred. Personnel supervisory experience. Shift scheduling and management experience. Competent in Microsoft office suite of programs; power point, word, excel.
