This quality leader will report to the Plant Manager and will maintain quality management systems and SQF Food Packaging manufacturing safety standards according to federal regulations. Seeking an experienced Quality Manager who can detect and contribute to the resolution of flaws in manufacturing processes.Responsibilities:- Report to the Plant Manager, the Quality Leader will be tasked with achieving the production objectives and optimizing efficiency and resources.- Maintain SQF Food Packaging Manufacturing standards according to govern regulations.- Maintain quality and SQF training records.- Approve and verify quality specifications and machine centerlines for production processes.- Schedule and maintains calibration frequencies and records for production equipment.- Conduct audits and perform continuous improvement analysis.- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.- Develop work instructions and document and train production personnel.- Maintain waste streams and disposal according to EPA standards.- Uphold Environmental Permits including Air, Water, and Radiation.- Optimize efficiencies and drive efforts to reduce waste and downtime and increase production availability.
