We need YOU!We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assists Process Engineers in developing, improving, testing and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and equipment. Provides technical support to manufacturing operators. Performs rheological analysis of slurry before coating and drives ready to coat process through established procedures.During your work as a Process Tech I you will… Perform Rheology analysis of slurries and condition as needed.Recommend slurry conditioning for slurriesSupport LD coating startups and optimizations.Support new product launch.Run setup coater add troubleshoot coating and slurry as needed.Assist Process Engineers in developing, improving, testing, troubleshooting manufacturing process and equipments.Tests process equipment and instruments to observe and record operating characteristics and performance of specified process.Test process equipments and instruments to observe and record operating characteristics and performance of specified process.Trains, observes and confers with equipment operators to ensure specified techniques are used, to troubleshoot the process and to assist operators in achieving optimum equipment operation.Assists in developing and testing new process and procedures implementation.Maintain coater recipes up-dated all the time for all catalyst part numbersQualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalentIf you have…High School Diploma/GED and Specialized Training and/or Certification with 5-7 years related experience.Experience in Catalyst coating, including MCC4, combo, and combo-in preferreWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The use of personal protection equipment is required including, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and gloves. The use of respirators and splash protection may be required.
