As a Maintenance Technician Apprentice, you will be a part of a team which manufactures emissions catalysts for a variety of mobile and stationary source applications and more!Starting on or about May 22nd, 2023, you…Will begin an academic Industrial Maintenance/Electrical, AAS. while working and learning on site in our Huntsville, AL site from some of the best in the business. During your time here we don't want you to sweat the small stuff so BASF will cover the entire cost of your educational program, including books!When you're not studying you will have opportunities to…Work hands-on in our Huntsville, AL emissions catalysts site learning to.Troubleshoot and repair of electrical controls, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC (Siemens and AB) and pneumatics on all site equipment. Provide technical support for all new equipment installations. Perform and ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM's) are completed per schedule and that all plant lab and weighing systems are performing within the specifications of the process requirements. Gather and analyze technical data and recommend needed repairs or modifications on production equipment. Update all electrical / mechanical drawings for equipment modifications. (i.e., red line drawings). Assist in the development of PM programs for all new equipment. Establish or modify work procedures including PM to meet the demands of the site. Make recommendations to improve maintenance and production operations.
